France and Honduras stood for their national anthems on Sunday at the World Cup, only to be let down by the stadium PA system.

As per John Drayton of the Daily Mail, the Group E match at Estadio Beira-Rio in Porto Alegre went ahead without either side hearing their anthem.

Predictably, there was a reaction on Twitter.

FIFA officials will no doubt be looking for somebody to blame.
