Orioles' Adam Jones Runs into Umpire While Trying to Go to Second Base

That could have gone better.

During Saturday's game between the Toronto Blue Jays and Baltimore Orioles, Adam Jones hit a grounder to the left side of the infield in the bottom of the fifth inning. Thanks to a throwing error by Blue Jays third baseman Juan Francisco, Jones was able to advance to second base. But during the turn to second, he accidentally ran into umpire Hunter Wendelstedt.

Jones easily made it to second and apologized to Wendelstedt for running into him.

The Orioles ended up winning 3-2 to move to 35-32 on the year.
