1. Apparently, no lead is a safe lead in Major League Baseball.

Nick Markakis and the Baltimore Orioles proved it Tuesday night, overcoming a 10-to-1 seventh inning deficit at Camden Yards against Jonathan “Papelbum” and the American League-leading Red Sox.

BoSox starting pitcher John Smoltz may have to wait another 438 days for his next win.

Carlos Boozer and Mehmet Okur have announced they have the intention of winning the NBA Finals this season when both decided to remain with the Utah Jazz, a franchise that has never—and will probably ever—win the NBA championship.

The New York Knicks, who have not made the NBA playoffs for five-straight years for the first time since the 1960s, are desperately hoping to make some big offseason moves.

Turns out they figured they’ll offer deals to anybody with two arms and two legs to improve their roster.

That’s too bad, I was kind of hoping he would win his fifth ring this upcoming season coming off the bench, playing with Shaq and LeBron in Cleveland for an entry-level salary.

At the pace he is going, he very well could hit more out of the park than the entire Mets’ roster combined.
