Father's Day and the World Cup flavored much of the best WWE social media offerings this week.
The most intriguing tweets, Instagram photos and viral videos gave fans a look at Roman Reigns from a unique perspective. WWE counted 10 of the most memorable splintered alliances and reminded us that fatherhood is important.
An interesting new entrance theme mash-up popped up on YouTube as well. Rusev has often been compared to Umaga. He is powerful and explosive, just like the late "Samoan Bulldozer." In fact, WWE is reportedly using Umaga's push as the blueprint for Rusev's.
Eric Minnesota combined the two monsters' entrance songs with haunting results.
Meanwhile in Brazil, a striker for the Brazilian national team seemed to be taking notes from flop-master Ric Flair.
In the first game of the World Cup, Frederico Guedes (better known as Fred) made it appear as if his Croatian opponent had hit him with an Edge-O-Matic. The referee awarded Brazil a penalty kick, and the folks at SportsNation were quick to make light of the situation.
Although he got the call, Fred has work to do in the selling department. Seth Rollins would likely scoff at his overdone sell job.
Rollins, an elite seller, could also teach Fred how to turn on his teammates if he wanted to start cracking Neymar and company with a steel chair. Rollins betraying The Shield inspired WWE to crack open the vault and relive some of the biggest team breakups in WWE/WCW history.
The latest top-10 video features Scott Hall, Rick Martel and Shawn Michaels all joining knife with back.
Reigns, one of Rollins' victims, created some buzz on the Internet thanks to a peek into his life as a dad. He was one of a handful of Superstars featured in public service announcements about fathers spending quality time with their kids.
The juxtaposition of Reigns' normally imposing nature with a tea party is must-watch.
The powerhouse made his female fans swoon even more when he posted a shot of him, still wearing the marks of a hard day's work in the ring, with his daughter.
This comes just in time for Father's Day, a holiday WWE celebrated via its Instagram account. The company flashed us back in time to when Dusty Rhodes embraced his sons at Battleground and then put up an image of Randy Orton standing alongside his dad, "Cowboy" Bob Orton.
Orton is set to go into battle for the WWE title against Sheamus, Alberto Del Rio and Paul Heyman's client Cesaro in a ladder match at the end of June.
WWE captured Heyman at a perfect moment, when he apparently refused to have his picture taken. The Instagram photo is further proof that Heyman is the company's king of facial expressions.
Heyman will be in Cesaro's corner as he attempts to win the vacant WWE World Heavyweight Championship at Money in the Bank.
The Twitter account meant to personify the idea of "vacant" holding the title is consistently amusing. After The Authority stripped Daniel Bryan, the person/people in charge of the account provided some fun tweets.
Vacant's reign is set to end in a matter of weeks, when Cesaro, Orton and perhaps either Rollins or Reigns will have a chance to take home that belt on June 29. By that point, Fred and his teammates will have likely made it to the World Cup's second stage, in search of their own championship.
