The three names on Bruno Boys’ list of quarterbacks flying under the radar right now in fantasy drafts are Carson Palmer, Matt Hasselbeck, and Brady Quinn. Hard to argue against the inclusion of those three guys, but how about a few more?
Atlanta’s Matt Ryan fits the bill. Coming off a spectacular rookie campaign in which he led the Falcons to the playoffs, Ryan has the tools and more playmakers (read: Tony Gonzalez) to become a very consistent fantasy starter. This could be his breakout campaign.
Donovan McNabb was flying low for a while, but began picking up some momentum after the Eagles added some offensive skill players via the 2009 NFL Draft. If he can be had for cheap, fantasy owners would be wise to give him another ride this year.
Trent Edwards and Shaun Hill are sneaky propositions as well. More risk involved with these guys: Edwards has to handle Terrell Owens all season and Hill has to rely on a rookie wide receiver to catch passes.
Anyone else that could be added to this list? Drop names in the comments.
