Dodgers starting pitcher Chad Billingsley had Tommy John surgery in April of 2013 and was working his way back in hopes of rejoining the Dodgers quite soon. Instead, he was shut down during a bullpen session Wednesday and will have to have his elbow examined -- as the throwing session did not go well, the club told reporters (Bill Shaikin).
