Wednesday's night action takes place in Baltimore with Rubby De La Rosa (1-1, 2.84 ERA) taking the mound for the Red Sox and Wei-Yin Chen (6-2, 4.13 ERA) taking the mound for the Orioles.
The defending World Series champions have struggled this year, finding themselves 8.5 games behind the Toronto Blue Jays in the AL East. The Orioles have been consistently adequate so far this year, sitting at only one game above .500 heading into this game.
If the playoffs started on Wednesday, neither one of these teams would be playing, but there's plenty of time to catch up.
Many questions remain about both teams.
Can the Red Sox offense finally get going?
Can the Orioles finally overcome their mediocrity?
Will Nelson Cruz continue his hot power streak? Can he carry this team to a wild-card spot?
Make sure to bookmark this page and come back Wednesday night at the start of Red Sox vs. Orioles at 7 p.m. ET. Bleacher Report will have answers to these questions and live coverage of all the action!
You can watch the game live on ESPN.
