David Luiz Pictures with Hair Shaved Were a Cruel Hoax Before 2014 World Cup

Reports and pictures that Brazil international David Luiz had got a buzz cut before the 2014 World Cup began were the talk of social media—until it turned out they were a clever fake.

The pictures were released by Brazilian satirical website Ole do Brasiland they were pretty convincing at first:

But once people started looking at Ole do Brasil's brief, it became apparent that they were not genuine.

David Luiz's long, curly hair has earned him the nickname "Sideshow Bob" after The Simpsons character with the same haircut. 

As you can see in the lead image above, the hair is still there.
