Michael Waltrip Racing and Napa Auto Parts has scheduled a press conference to announce that Martin Truex Jr. will drive the No. 56 Toyota for MWR. Truex Jr., the 2004 and 2005 NASCAR Busch Series champion and winner at Dover in May 2007, will depart form the Earnhardt-Ganassi team.

While sponsors have yet to be determined, it looks as though Bass Pro Shops, Truex's Sponsor since the 2004 Busch Series Season, will stay with EGR and stay on the No. 1 Impala. Napa Auto Parts will likely take over as the sponsor for the No. 56.

Also being announced is that Michael Waltrip will drive 10-12 races in the No. 55 Napa Toyota.

Aric Almorola will likely replace Truex Jr in the No. 1, likely with Bass Pro Shops as its sponsor.

Truex's brother, Ryan, is an MWR development driver and won the pole and finished second at New Hampshire in the Camping World East Series.
