It is all about riding the hot hand, and that is what Edgar Renteria is right now. The Giants shortstop has eight hits in his last 20 at-bats and a five-game hitting streak. Three of those five games have been multi-hit efforts. He is not a trendy shortstop, but he is swinging well right now, and the Giants are playing some good ball.
