Ilkay Gundogan Has Put on Some Weight Since Injury for Borussia Dortmund

Ilkay Gundogan is regarded as one of the finest midfield talents in the European game, but he's clearly not been watching the calories too closely after injury ended his season.

Pictures have surfaced of the Borussia Dortmund star looking a little less like a professional footballer and a little more, well, like the rest of us:

Gundogan has been suffering with a chronic back injury that worsened in April and ended his season prematurely, as well as costing him a chance of going to the World Cup.
