Michael Jackson, Farrah Fawcett, Ed McMahon and now Billy Mays. The good Lord must have a desperate need in heaven for some quality entertainment.
What a sad week in the history of American pop culture.
Probably the least known of the bunch, Mays was only a rising star on the television circuit. He achieved fame courtesy of his slew of infomercials and recently started doing plugs for ESPN.
The other three—Jackson, Fawcett and McMahon—will go down in the annals of American pop history as some of its finest characters.
Jackson was a global star and I personally enjoy his music to this day. He will be missed.
In remembrance of Jackson and his fantastic music legacy, this week’s Daily Hazes will be dedicated to the uber-massive pop star with The Hazean’s five favorite Jackson songs.
Today’s song: The Way You Make Me Feel.
