The St. Louis Cardinals' Yadier Molina is widely viewed as the best defensive catcher in the majors, but even he makes a mistake from time to time. Just ask Kansas City Royals outfielder Norichika Aoki.

After the second pitch in the bottom of the first inning of Thursday night's game, Molina attempted to throw the ball back to pitcher Michael Wacha. Things didn't go as planned.

Trainers came out to check on Aoki, but he would shake it off and stay in the game. He ended up grounding out to shortstop in the at-bat.
