Tempers flared towards the end of England's friendly with Ecuador on Wednesday, with Raheem Sterling and Antonio Valencia both sent off.

Sterling slid in dangerously on Valencia. Valencia reacted with his own kind of justice.

Did we mention the pair play for Liverpool and Manchester United respectively? That probably explains it then.
