Once The Great American Bash, the WWE's June PPV The Bash, took place tonight. Here is a report on who won and my commentary on the show.
ECW Scamble Match: Tommy Dreamer(champion) vs. Christian vs. Mark Henry vs. Jake Swagger vs. Finlay
Winner: Still ECW Champ, Tommmy Dreamer
The angle ECW is going with is good for Dreamer as he will retire when he loses. If and when. It is finally good for Dreamer to capture the title and at least defend it a few times before he actually retires. A shame how a World Title match is the curtain jerker.
Intercontinental Championship Match: Chris Jericho(champion) vs. Rey Mysterio
Winner: New IC Champ, Rey Mysterio
A great feud, one of the best in the E right now. This is why Smackdown is the dominate brand in the company. A great match with a good finish. I can't wait to see more of this.
No DQ Match: Dolph Zigger vs. Great Khali
Winner: Dolph Zigger with the help of Kane
No one cares, just filler time.
Unified Tag Title Match: The Colons(Carlito and Primo) vs. The Legacy
Winners: New Tag Champs, Edge and Chris Jericho
Now a three way tag with Edge and Chris Jericho. Why do that? I'm glad they wanted to include Edge in the show, but why not have a partner he has already had. Say, Christian. He would have been a fresher face and the fans who have loved a reunion. Anyway, with the throw together match, not bad.
WWE Women's Title Match: Melina(champion) vs. Michelle McCool
Winner: New Women's Champ, Michelle McCool
Nice to see a woman's match on the card, I love equality. Nice to see the division getting better. Nice match.
