Tim Duncan won his first NBA title with the San Antonio Spurs in 1999. LeBron James entered the league straight out of St. Vincent–St. Mary High School in 2003. That means James was months away from becoming a high school freshman when Duncan won his first ring.

Here's what James looked like at the time:

Of course, LeBron has since grown up. On Thursday, June 5, he and the Miami Heat will look to win a third straight ring as they battle Duncan's Spurs. Duncan is competing for his fifth ring.
