England's tour of New Zealand begins with the first of three Tests in Auckland on Saturday, and it will be a step into the unknown for All Black second row Brodie Retallick, who cannot name a single England opponent.

According to the Guardian:

Asked if he knew any England player ahead of Saturday's series opener, Retallick responded 'a couple.' When pressed for a name, the second row said 'Michael Lawes.' Retallick appeared to mean Courtney Lawes, who is en route to New Zealand having helped Northampton win the Aviva Premiership final last weekend and is unavailable for the first Test.

The All Blacks are the reigning world champions and won all 14 of their matches in 2013.

England, who are missing a host of players through injury, go into the series as heavy underdogs.
