Florida Gators Pull off Hidden Ball Trick vs. College of Charleston

Tyler Brooke@TylerDBrookeSenior Analyst IIMay 31, 2014

The Florida Gators are one of the top teams in college baseball, and even they like to pull off a trick play every once in a while.

Gators pitcher Logan Shore was pretending to tie his shoe in the first inning against College of Charleston on Friday while shortstop Richie Martin secretly still had the ball in his glove.

As Nick Pappas stepped off second base, Martin quickly tagged him out. However, the No. 2 Gators ended up losing 3-2 to Charleston in their regional matchup.
