Whenever the England team go to a major tournament, they are always accompanied by a travelling media circus. The World Cup in Brazil will be no different, and the press are likely to focus as much on the WAGs as the players.
According to The Mirror, The FA have refused to pay for players' wives and girlfriends to attend warm-up matches is the Miami. However, some WAGs have already confirmed they will travel to Brazil.
Even Professor Stephen Hawking has had his say on the issue, telling The Independent:
To bring WAGs or not to bring WAGs, that is not the question. This will have no bearing on England bringing home the bacon, rather England’s likely success can be worked out by looking at a number of environmental, physiological, psychological, political and tactical variables.
