As Derek Jeter continues his farewell tour across the country, MLB teams have been paying tribute with plenty of gifts. At the same time, the 39-year-old shortstop has been making sure to thank the New York Yankees fans for coming out to the games.

During Monday's game against the St. Louis Cardinals at Busch Stadium, Jeter singled out a young Yankees fan while in the dugout, throwing him a baseball. The kid was obviously thrilled, and a young Cardinals fan even came up to him to give him a high five.
