A group of Florida friends planned for a night of playing cards, but it ended up turning into a night that none of them would ever forget.

On May 25, Dustin Richter and his friends went fishing in Boynton Beach, Florida, instead of playing poker. They had no idea of the battle that was in store for them that night.

At some point during their fishing trip, Richter and his buddies became engaged in what would turn into a two-hour battle with a fish. It was no ordinary fish, however. It turned out to be an 11-foot, 500-pound sawfish.

Richter talked about his wild night, via ABC News:

Although the group of friends released the fish back into the water, they were able to walk away with one of the sawfish's teeth.
