Meet NBA Draft Prospect Marcus Smart

The NBA draft takes place on June 26 this year, and now that the NBA order has been set, teams are interviewing and trying out players to decide on the best fit. Most of these prospects have been preparing for this day their whole lives.

Marcus Smart surprised the basketball community by deciding to go back to Oklahoma State for his sophomore season after he was predicted to be a top-five NBA draft selection in 2013. NBA teams will draft Smart for his defensive skills and his strong leadership.

Smart has had to overcome many obstacles to be considered an NBA lottery selection, including difficult personal struggles as well as anger issues on the court. He answers all the questions about his maturity and growth, and details his story.
