The speculated trade sending Amare to the Warriors seems to have hit a snag as Don Nelson told reporters today that Stephen Curry can "unpack his bags and relax" because he will not be part of any trade. The seventh pick in this year's draft, Curry was a key piece to the deal with the Suns, and it seems unlikely the Suns will agree to a deal without him.

Suns' general manager Steve Kerr says he has fielded many calls inquiring into Stoudemire's availability, especially after trading Shaq. The Suns and Warriors are both sold on Curry's ability to be an outstanding pro.

No trade with Biedrens can be finalized until July 8 because at that time his salary will increase to the point where the deal will work financially for both teams. At this point though another rumored Amare deal seems to be dead.

There stands to be many more rumored deals from the likes of the Knicks and Bulls and GMs around the league are eager to test how desperate the Suns are to get young and cut salary. Maybe the Nash and Stoudemire pick n' roll will see another day.
