It appears that Davone Bess is joining in on the Twitter action now too! Today, Bess got himself in a verbal battle with Tennessee Titans running back Chris Johnson. Bess actually challenged Johnson to a race! Bess also said that both he and Ted Ginn want a piece of Johnson, and that they should set up the race for charity. Here is an exact rundown of what both players said on Twitter:

Johnson: "Who is lambo weezy? He wants to race me. In the words of the great, yes i said the great, Chad Ochocinco - child please."

"He really don't want to race. Did he even break a 4.5 in the forty?"

"OMG - let me stop making people famous. lambo weezy ran a 4.64 40 yard dash. I swear ya'll kill me."

"I'm sorry, I'm gonna stop making these clowns famous. I got a blank check. How about that? I'm done talking."

Bess then goes on to respond: "Lol - set it up. We can do it for charity."

"Track and street racing are two different things."

Johnson then says: "I feel insulted because somebody want to race me who ran a 4.64. I ran 4.24 - do the math."

This is where it gets interesting. Bess says: "I just ran a 4.2 sir. Me and Ted both want to race u. Stop talking about times and lace em up."

Wow! I still cannot get over the fact that Bess says that he can run a 4.2! If he can do that in the season, then he will have no problem cracking the rotation because he already can catch anything in sight, and to add to it that he can now run a 4.2! Our wide receivers now sound pretty darn good to me, after looking pretty bleak going into the draft. I thought that they would be a staff lacking a true number one receiver, but that looks to not be a problem anymore.

Now on to the "race".  If Bess thinks that he can outrun Johnson, then so be it, but I would like to caution him. Bess if you want to challenge Chris Johnson, one of the fastest players in the league, you better put up a fight, and back up what you are saying. You are now entering some shaky waters, and the Trifecta would not be happy if you lost after both you and Johnson have been talking so much smack towards each other. Good luck Davone!
