Adidas has unveiled its 2014 World Cup campaign, a £50 million advert featuring a wealth of football stars headlined by Lionel Messi and a new track written and performed by Kanye West.

The advert will be seen on television for the first time during the Champions League final between Real Madrid and Atletico Madrid on Saturday night, according to The Guardian, and has been directed by Fernando Meirelles, the man responsible for the Oscar-nominated film City of God.

Messi is the lead star, but by no means is he the only one, with the likes of Dani Alves, Luis Suarez, Robin Van Persie and Mesut Ozil all making appearances.

It goes head to head against Nike's own spot, which has already been released, starring Cristiano Ronaldo, Neymar, Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Wayne Rooney.

But adding Kanye to the mix gives the German sportswear company something different.

Whichever one you prefer, you're going to be seeing plenty of both during the 2014 World Cup.
