Oregon Baseball Player Tumbles Home, Still Scores Run

Tyler Brooke@TylerDBrookeSenior Analyst IIMay 23, 2014

The Oregon Ducks baseball team beat the California Golden Bears 5-1 on Thursday night, but that doesn't mean Oregon played perfect throughout.

During the bottom of the seventh inning, Ducks freshman A.J. Balta tried to steal third base. After a wild throw from the California catcher, Balta began running toward home plate, but he stumbled on his way there. You can see a video of the play below.

Fortunately, Balta still came in to score, and his team came away with the win.
