Assessing Every New York Jets UDFA's Chances of Making Final Roster

Every undrafted free agent enters camp with the hope that he can come home with the ultimate prize: a spot on the final 53-man roster. If nothing else, he can at least find some temporary work on the practice squad to earn some quality cash and hone his skills. 

The sad truth is, the vast majority of undrafted players are not even considered for roster spots. 

In reality, most of the roster is already set. Only a few spots are available at the bottom of the depth chart, where play on special teams is at least as important as, if not more important than, a player's potential as a starter

Competing with a massive draft class that consists of 12 picks, the New York Jets' UDFAs are going to have a particularly tough time earning a spot on the team. In fact, many of the Jets' late-round picks are going to have a tough time finding a role with so many other similarly talented players around them.
