Round Two

31. Kings selected Jeff Pendergraph - PF: Traded to Portland, Pendergraph will backup LaMarcus Aldridge in the post and he should do very well in that roll.

32. Wizards selected Jermaine Taylor - SG: Taylor was moved to Houston, where he could be the heir to T-Mac. He is a first-round athlete and was one of college basketball's most prolific scorers.

33. Blazers selected Dante Cunningham - F: He isn't the most athletic player, but Cunningham is competitive and he always knocks down the open J.

34. Nuggets selected Sergio Llull - PG: Llull is headed to Houston. He might continue to play overseas but has good NBA potential.

35. Pistons selected DaJuan Summers - F: At the very worst, Summers should be the seventh or eighth man off the bench in the NBA and he has starting potential with his diverse game.

36. Grizzlies selected Sam Young - G/F: The best value pick of the draft, the Grizzlies can rotate Young in at the two or three. He scores, rebounds, and plays D. Tough doesn't begin to describe him.

37. Spurs selected DeJuan Blair - PF: The other Pitt player who slipped, Blair was a dominator in college but it seems he would make a better NFL player than NBA. If he can bring energy in spot minutes, he will stick for a while.

38. Blazers selected Jon Brockman - PF: The Blazers gave Brockman an early commitment which is why he seemed absent during the draft process. Portland then traded him to the Kings, where he will join former teammate Spencer Hawes.

39. Pistons selected Jonas Jerebko - SF: Hopefully he will be better than Walter Herrmann, but there are no guarantees with Euro prospects.

40. Bobcats selected Derrick Brown - F: Charlotte was looking for an athletic PF and they get a great pick in Brown who is defensive minded. Potentially a great NBA role player and possibly even a starter.

41. Bucks selected Jodie Meeks - SG: The Bucks get another good scorer, in case Redd is out and to help the replace Jefferson.

42. Lakers selected Patrick Beverley - PG: Traded to Miami, Beverley earned good experience in Europe and he adds depth to the Heat's PG situation.

43. Heat selected Marcus Thornton - SG: Thornton is heading to the Hornets where the combo-guard will score in bursts off the bench, taking pressure of Chris Paul to create.

44. Pistons selected Chase Budinger - G/F: In another attempt to patch the T-Mac tear, Houston trades for Budinger. He could be the next Brent Barry, or just nothing; it depends how much he wants it.

45. Timberwolves selected Nick Calathes - G: Dallas trades for Calathes, gathering another player they can leave in Europe to develop.

46. Cavaliers selected Danny Green - SF: With this pick, Cleveland gets a guy who can defend the wing and play a role alongside stars.

47. Timberwolves selected Henk Norel - PF: Norel has a great potential, but he is young and needs time to develop; a theme with European prospects.

48. Suns selected Taylor Griffin - SF: For a second-straight year, the Suns take the lesser of two brothers. Taylor is a hard worker and can play some three and four.

49. Hawks selected Sergiy Gladyr - SG: He can stroke but won't come to America anytime soon.

50. Jazz selected Goran Suton - C: Such a Jazz player, Suton can shoot outside and he works hard on the glass. He isn't very athletic, but he can give good spot minutes.

51. Spurs selected Jack McClinton - G: When the Spurs are looking to close the gap quickly in a game, McClinton will come in and make it rain.

52. Pacers selected A.J. Price - PG: This could turn out to be a great pick for the Pacers.  Price doesn't "wow" you at first sight, but he has good size for a point guard and he has played an important role in many high profile games.

53. Spurs selected Nando De Colo - PG: The Spurs have a rich tradition of successfully drafting foreign players and they look to continue the trend.

54. Bobcats selected Robert Vanden - SG: This pick goes to OKC; Vanden may make the team because they lack three-point shooters.

55. Blazers selected Patrick Mills - PG: A real steal this late in the draft, I expect Mills to make the team and do well when he plays. He has to be wondering if coming out was the right move however.

56. Mavericks selected Ahmad Nivins - PF: Could surprise teams off the bench for Dallas.  He's not just an energy guy—he can score too.

57. Suns selected Emir Preldzic - SF: Not the best pick, even this late in the draft.

58. Celtics selected Lester Hudson - G: Possibly a backup to Rondo, if anything, Hudson will give the Cs a great look in practice.

59. Lakers selected Chinemelu Elonu - PF: No, he's not an overseas prospect. Elonu is from Texas A&M, and I think he is better than Josh Powell.

60. Heat selected Robert Dozier - SF: Very talented and finally started to come around as a senior. If he can continue developing his shot, Dozier's length and athleticism will keep him in the league until he breaks down.
