The Detroit Tigers grabbed headlines Monday when they were ready to travel decked out in Zubaz gear, but things didn't go as planned.
The team's flight was delayed in Boston after their Sunday night game, and the team was still stuck there as of early Monday afternoon. That led to one lonely pitcher in Cleveland.
Detroit pitcher Drew Smyly left Boston early so he could get to Cleveland and prepare for his Monday start. When he showed up to Progressive Field, he had the clubhouse pretty much to himself.
Good news: Detroit found a way to get out of Boston.

Here are some pictures from early Monday morning after the team's initial flight was delayed:
Catcher Bryan Holaday believes the team's outfits may have contributed to the delay:
Our Zubaz were too much for the plane to handle. Lets try again tomorrow— Bryan Holaday (@jbholaday) May 19, 2014
It will be interesting to see if the long night will have an affect on the Tigers when they take on the Indians Monday night.
