The Toronto Blue Jays entered 2014 as something of a forgotten team, their punishment for disappointing amid so much hype in 2013.
Six weeks into the season, however, the Blue Jays are a team that deserves some attention.
They’re presently the only club in the AL East that has a positive run differential, and they also have a couple things they didn’t have for much of 2013: a healthy and productive Jose Bautista and stability at the top of their starting rotation.
This not to say the Jays aren’t going to need a few things to happen in order to have a shot at October, though. MLB Lead Writer Zachary D. Rymer is here with some thoughts on that, which include something Bautista has to do and some trades the Blue Jays might have to make.
