Wingsuit Parachuters Jump out of Plane over New York, Reach Speeds of 120 MPH

Thanks to wingsuits, five members of the Red Bull Air Force team were able to jump out of a plane and fall to the ground at breathtaking speeds.

The daredevils jumped out of the plane around 7,500 feet over Manhattan, and they reached speeds of up to 120 miles per hour as they fell to the ground. The team was able to cover two miles in two minutes before parachuting onto a barge in the Hudson River:

According to ABC News' Alyssa Newcomb, these parachuters took part in this stunt in order to promote the Bethpage Air Show in Long Island next weekend.
