Pretty slow start to the show, with simple clips of minor bickering between the fighters, until Rampage brings in former TUF winner Michael Bisping to help spar with his team. Rampage is looking for some kind of spark to motivate his team after losing the first two fights.

Team Griffin is shown hard at work, with one fighter, Matt Brown in particular, being showcased. The antics continued back in the house, and Jeremy May decides to put lime juice in Matt Brown's dip. Considering that they have only been together for a short time, and very limited bonds have been made, that was all Matt needed to lose his temper...in a quiet controlled manner. Matt called out Jeremy, and made it seem like they would be fighting next.

  1. great recap, how do u compare this season compared to the rest?

  2. Hey Cameron, hard to say so far, this early. You have to remember that in the previous seasons, you had 5 episodes with 1 fight each, but plenty of time to get to know the fighters since more than half have fought by now. While every fighter had to win to get into the house, we have only seen 6 fighters and 3 winners with enough of a bio and story to start to make up our minds about them.

The one thing I can see is that most of these guys are serious about MMA. Even Riddle. I don't think Riddle fully understands the opportunity he has been given, but I believe he will still make a serious run in the near future with some organization.

I also think that this show is more about the coaches than ever before. I think these guys have already logged more camera time than any other coach, with the exception of Hughes and Serra. And my god, how bad of a coach is Rampage. He may be great at running drills, but I do not want him in my corner. This guy sounds like James Brown with all of his, "Get Up!" chants.
