Kieron Pollard's Catch for Mumbai Indians vs. Rajasthan Defies All Belief

Kieron Pollard took one of cricket's greatest ever catches when he held on to dismiss Kevon Cooper during Mumbai Indians' IPL clash against the Rajasthan Royals.

Pollard was stationed in the deep as Cooper looked to hit a six off the bowling of Harbhajan Singh.

Ordinarily, the shot would have beaten most fielders, but Pollard held on with a one-handed grab with his hand behind him.

Alone, it would have been incredible, but what happened next made it even more special.

So close to the rope, Pollard had to watch his footing and make sure he didn't touch the boundary. By the smallest of margins, he avoided it, but knew his balance would tip him over soon enough—so he threw the ball high in the air.

He fell to the ground, turned around, and ran back to take a legitimate diving catch in the field of play.
