Mike Napoli Turns Double Play While Ball Is Stuck in Glove

A strange moment happened during Friday night's game between the Boston Red Sox and Detroit Tigers, but fortunately for first baseman Mike Napoli, everything worked out.

After Victor Martinez hit a ground ball to Napoli, he was able to touch first base for the first out but was unable to get the ball out of his glove, as it was stuck in the webbing. Luckily, Napoli was still able to tag out Miguel Cabrera for the double play. You can see a video of the play below.

The Tigers went on to win the game 1-0 thanks to a great outing from Max Scherzer.
