Former Tulane safety Devon Walker was paralyzed in 2012 during a game against Tulsa, but that didn't keep the New Orleans Saints from making his dream of being in the NFL come true.

Walker, who just received his degree in cell and molecular biology, was signed by the Saints on Saturday and attended rookie minicamp.

Former Saints player Steve Gleason, who himself is battling ALS (Lou Gehrig's disease), reached out over Twitter to congratulate Walker.
