Goal-Line Controversy in DFB-Pokal Final as BVB Denied, Bayern Munich Win Cup

The DFB-Pokal Final was on Saturday, with Borussia Dortmund and Bayern Munich squaring off for the German Cup. While goals were sparse, there was a controversial moment in the second half as BVB had a shot apparently cross the line.

Mats Hummels' header looked like it should have been awarded in video replays, as you can see below: 

But in the end, justice may have served, as Hummels looked potentially offside anyway.

The decision ended up being very important, as the match remained scoreless until Arjen Robben struck in the second half of extra time:


That goal would prove to be the difference, as Bayern Munich added one more in stoppage time to win 2-0 and complete their German double.
