Apparently celebrities can make broken items worth tens of thousands of dollars just by signing them.

Steve Soboroff, president of the Los Angeles Police Commission, was at a Los Angeles Clippers game when he spotted Rihanna and asked her to take a picture with him. He tweeted out the picture, but she accidentally broke his phone shortly after.

Instead of complaining about it, Soboroff asked her to sign the broken phone and sold it on eBay. According to SB Nation, the phone sold for a whopping $66,500. You can see a picture of the listing below.

The money is for a good cause, though, as Soboroff is donating the money to the LAPD Cadet Program, with Rihanna chipping in $25,000 of her own money as well.
