Triple plays are very rare in baseball, but to see two in a game is almost unthinkable.

However, that is exactly what the Penn State baseball team did on Friday against Michigan State. In the fourth and eighth innings, the Nittany Lions turned triple plays, tying an NCAA record for most triple plays in a game, with Gonzaga doing the same thing back in 2006.

Penn State may have lost 4-2, but the Nittany Lions generated plenty of buzz after those two impressive triple plays.
