Tottenham FC's 27 year old striker Dimitar Berbatov is looking for something better this upcoming season. He is looking to leave Tottenham and wants to play in the Champions League.
Lately, Berbatov has been rumored to be moving to clubs like Manchester United, Chelsea, Barcelona, AC Milan, and Bayern Munich (all common Champions League contestants). Berbatovs's agent Emil Dantchev also said that his client (Berbatov) could be about to move.
There is no question why these big-name clubs want Berbatov. He is 6'2" and a menacing player on the field. Since joining Tottenham FC in July 2006, Berbatov has scored 45 goals. Just this past season he scored 15 goals and made 11 assists. He has almost everything you would want in a striker. Vision, touch, creativity, and finishing are all skills that he possesses. The only thing he lacks in is speed. That, however, makes him a great pair with Robbie Keane, another striker on Tottenham. Keane has speed while Berbatov has control. Together they work very well.

It will be interesting to see, however, if Berbatov is a starter on his next team. Facing competition from world-class strikers such as Didier Drogba (Chelsea), Filippo Inzaghi (AC Milan), and Wayne Rooney (Manchester United), Berbatov may have a hard time getting a spot on a first team.
Overall, it will be interesting to see where Berbatov goes and how he plays on his next team. As a strong, powerful player, he will undoubtedly do well next year and have a great soccer career.

Jack great article-very well done. Its refreshing to see someone point out that soccer players do have weaknesses, something many have found it difficult to do.
