I always thought Malone was a douchebag ever since he gave David Robinson that blatant elbow to the temple which knocked him out cold - Robinson hit the floor face first like a ton of bricks, completely unconscious - and the foul was on Robinson.
Sad to see with all his money and success he can't claim responsibility for his own flesh and blood. The really sick part (if it's true) is the fact that he had sex with a 13 year old... wow. Statuatory rape is a 19 year old sleeping with a 16 year old... sleeping with a 13 year old is pedophilia.

OK, so by that logic it would be OK with you if Jordan touched little boys? Or if Bill Russell had a nasty date-rape habit? Bullshit. Just because a guy is great on the court doesn't make him a great man. (Oh, and Duncan has already far surpassed Malone as the most dominant power forward ever anyway.) Malone was a great basketball player, but appears to be somewhat of a worthless human being. A grown man having sex with a 13 year old is disgusting, and if Malone really did do it he should have gone to prison, end of story. Not to mention the whole "abandoning the fruit of his loins despite excessive and unnecessary wealth" thing.

It has nothing to do with race, it has everything to do with responsibility. It takes 2 to make a baby, and both people share a responsibility for that. Malone refusing to claim or support his son at all is pathetic, considering the cushy life he's led for the past 20 years. It's not like he was going to be struggling with another mouth to feed. Good for the kid for making it on his own though, I wish him success in the NFL.
