After losing 2-1 to Atalanta over the weekend, AC Milan now need a minor miracle to reach sixth place in the Serie A standings.

It's almost time to turn the page on what has been a frustrating season for Rossoneri fans, with the club reaching lows not seen since the early 1980s.

It's hard to anticipate what Milan will do in the summer, considering the fact that no one really knows what will happen to coach Clarence Seedorf.

Whoever does lead the team next season will have a major say on the players that are sold and purchased in the next few months.

Here are some of the most legitimate transfer rumors surrounding the club.

The Rossoneri want to offer €5m for the attacking midfielder who has impressed plenty since joining from Fulham in January.

Milan is trying to get the players brought in on loan on a cheap deal, so an offer of €3.5m will be made to Spanish side Valencia.

Kaka has told RAI reporters (h/t Football Italia) that he wants to stay another year with Milan, but understands it is ultimately up to the club to decide if they want to keep him.

The 32-year-old trequartista has put up a valiant effort this season after coming back to the club where he became one of the most recognizable stars in the world.

Kaka wasn't called up to the Brazilian national team by coach Luiz Felipe Scolari and will have the summer to focus on next season with the Rossoneri.

Milan president Silvio Berlusconi told Sport Mediaset (h/t Football Italia) that Mario Balotelli needs to learn how to score goals after the striker hit the woodwork against Atalanta.

Balotelli isn't assured of a place in next year's team. Plenty of rumors have been swirling about possible summer transfer moves linking him to different clubs.
