NBA teams that finish near the bottom of the league can run special promotions focused around the draft. The Milwaukee Bucks came up with a simple promotion this year.
Some lucky fans received special Bucks pingpong balls in the mail. That seems very fitting.
Milwaukee ran away with the NBA's worst record at 15-67. It has the best odds (25 percent) of winning the No. 1 overall pick and is guaranteed a top-four pick at worst. With this year's star-studded NBA draft class, the team should have little trouble getting fans pumped up for the future.
Any Bucks fan who did not receive a pingpong ball will still have the opportunity to get one:
Bucks fans have to hope that pingpong balls will bounce their way when the NBA draft lottery is held on May 20.
