The New York Rangers are trying to avoid elimination in their NHL playoff series against the Pittsburgh Penguins, but they didn't get any help on this play.

During the first period of Game 6, Rangers center Derek Stepan had a potential breakaway opportunity, but the referee got in the way and accidentally tripped the 23-year-old.
