The Boston Bruins came out with their most complete effort of the series and are now one win away from advancing to the Eastern Conference Final for the second year in a row.

Carl Soderberg scored a goal in the first period and the Bruins jumped to a 3-0 lead early in the second. They never lost control and earned a 4-2 victory over the Montreal Canadiens.

The Bruins, who had been 0-of-10 on the power play, scored a pair of power play goals 32 seconds apart and that allowed them to dictate the pace of the game.

The Bruins lead the series 3 games to 2. Game 6 of the series will be played at the Bell Center Monday night.
