Greg Jennings is Second Highest-Paid Wide Receiver In NFL History, Meanwhile Sam Is Released

According to the Six, wide receiver Greg Jennings has re-signed with the Green Bay Packers in a deal that could be worth between $8M and $10M. It makes Jennings the second richest wide receiver behind Arizona Cardinals' Larry Fitzgerald.

The Packers have also released a wide receiver, Lorne Sam, who is New England Patriots' P.K. Sam's brother.

Dennis Northcutt: "I Want Out of Jacksonville."

Bryan Brackney reports that Jacksonville Jaguars veteran wide receiver Dennis Northcutt wants out of Jacksonville. Brackney says Northcutt is seeking for a trade. Northcutt has spent his last two seasons with the Jaguars and is most notably known for being with the Cleveland Browns.

Favre To Come to Training Camp at Minny

The Six reports that Brett Favre is expected to be at training camp with the Minnesota Vikings. Rumors were also saying that Favre has already had a done deal contract with Minny as well. It looks like I need to buy a new jersey for myself, now that I already own two other Favre jerseys (one with Green Bay and one with New York).

Chiefs Sign Mike Brown

The Six says that former Chicago Bears safety Mike Brown has agreed to a deal with the Kansas City Chiefs today. I expect Brown to start and do great for KC's defense this year. Let's see how it goes!

More Transactions

  • The Kansas City Chiefs sign Mr. Irrelevant, Ryan Succop (kicker).
  • The Tampa Bay Buccaneers sign two of their draft picks to four-year deals: E.J. Biggers (cornerback) and Kyle Moore (defensive end).
  • The Pittsburgh Steelers re-sign Max Starks (offensive tackle) to a four-year contract.
  • Fernando Bryant (safety) of the Pittsburgh Steelers has announced his retirement at the age of 32 years old.
