WASHINGTON – There was a moment in the third quarter when Roy Hibbert walked back to the sideline. The Verizon Center had needed the best out of its in-house DJ to spin uptempo tracks over the sighs and silence that filled the sold-out yet dead arena. The Washington Wizards, so bad offensively that it flirted with playoff infamy, appeared like the same sluggards from early January and not the upstart playoff darlings. Basketball had never looked so blah — and yet, there was Hibbert, a grin on his face and a pep in his walk.
