The United States is sensationally leading the best team in the world, Spain, in the first semifinal match of the Confederations Cup.

The U.S. got their break on 30 minutes, when Charlie Davies beautifully chipped the ball to Jozy Altidore, who shot from just inside the penalty box. The ball bounced off Iker Casillas, Spain's goalkeeper, in a rare mistake by the Spanish captain.

Spain then turned on the pressure. But great "last ditch" defending by the USA kept them out.

Spain's Fernando Torres made a great run into the penalty box, cutting inside and firing into the bottom corner, but Tim Howard got his legs in the way, and the ball bounced straight to a Spanish player. Some brave defending by Clint Dempsey got the ball away in time.

As it stands, Landon Donovan must be the hardest-working player out there!

Make sure you watch the second half, as the United States may cause the biggest upset in soccer in over a decade!
