IPL 2014, Amit Mishra Involved in Comical Run Out at Third Attempt

Amit Mishra joined Gautam Gambhir with a record-equalling 10th duck in the Indian Premier League on Thursday.

However, it is hard to imagine that any of his dismissals were more farcical than the one against the Rajasthan Royals.

The Sunrisers Hyderabad tailender was run out second ball at the third attempt.

He scampered out of his crease, after failing to make contact with James Faulkner's delivery, in an attempt to pick up a bye.

Wicketkeeper Sanju Samson's shy at the stumps was wide, then the bowler's direct throw missed the timber.

Despite two missed attempts, Mishra still ambled back toward his ground, and finally Samson made contact to end a sorry innings.
