Blue Jacket fans, what do we do with Rick Nash if he is not signed by the start of the season?

To hear the news from Toronto and Doug MacLean, Rick will be wearing a Maple Leaf on his jersey next year. Of course, this comes from a disgruntled ex general manager, but what if it is true?

Rick lives near Toronto, his parents are there, and it was his favorite team growing up. Should we hold it against him for wanting to go home? He can be the star there as he is here in Columbus?

My question is, if he doesn't sign and the trade deadline approaches, do we move him to get something even if we are in a playoff race or do we ride him to the playoffs and lose him for nothing? I say at that point we move him. What says you?
