The Albany River Rats and the Philadelphia Phantoms finish their best of 7 series tonight in Philadelphia with the series all tied up at 3 games apiece.

Rats goalie Michael Leighton has been nothing short of spectacular in this showdown. Not only does he have 2 shutouts against the Phantoms so far in this playoffs, he also had a record 98 saves in a marathon game which lasted into 5 overtime periods.

According to this article, Leighton has stopped 276 out of 284 shots on goal, giving him an unbelievable save percentage of .971 in this series.

This will be the first ever game 7 situation for many of these players, as well as for coach Tom Rowe, who says that he is looking forward to it.

Marc Cavosie, a graduate from nearby RPI, thinks that the pressure is on the home team. He has been in two game 7 situations while playing for Houston, and won both of them while on the road.

The game is available online via a pay-per-view network for $7.00. Just follow this link for more information. If you prefer to just listen to the game, you can find the free radio broadcast here.
